Thanks for the shot of the AF EC-121. At first I thought it was taken at Elmendorf but there are no mountains on the horizon; Must be Thule, early summer I suspect.

Two or three missions ago, (on a misty/rainy afternoon) the greiving widow came out and walked all of the flag line to thank each of us in person.

When she got to me and told me how pleased she was that we were there for her and her family, the only thing that I could say to her was that I didn’t have the hardest job that day!

I try to keep them all in our prayers!

Why thank you kindly for the T-Bird T-33 pic

That is my former boss flying it.

We rebuilt it from a sows ear and made it into a silk purse.

God rest his soul, he met his demise at Mt. Clemens, MI during an air show while flying this in '94.

It's a Canadaire T-33A with a Rolls Royce engine instead of the Allison engine.
