For a long time, I’ve wanted to express my gratitude to Jim Robinson for the enormous gift of FreeRepublic, but, I couldn’t find the right words. You have. Thank you for your post which expresses exactly how I feel. I hope you will allow me to share in your sentiments about Jim and the gift he has given to so many of us who don’t, personally, know him.

I had the privilege of shaking Jim's hand one time. It was in DC in May, 1999 at the Rally before the Tribute Dinner for the House Managers....I recall his warm smile and brave heart.
