Chinese state media say 3,000 to 5,000 people have died in one county in Sichuan province alone from a massive earthquake.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Monday that another 10,000 people were believed hurt in Beichuan county after the 7.8-magnitude quake.
Nearly 900 students were trapped after their school collapsed about 60 miles from the epicenter. Photos showed heavy cranes trying to remove rubble from the ruined school.

Until we help our own people that have lost everything in the storms here, I don’t want to help anyone in other countries. We can send $50 billion to Africa for aids but we can’t even help our own. When are we going to stand up and say “Enough is Enough”?

Im with you. I’ll never send another dollar for any foreign disaster or relief fund.
China is a monster.It is the real enemy of the environment,
liberties around the world and , friend to brutal regimes, 5th column spy activity here and in the rest of the west.They sell weapons and technology to our enemies, arm the Iranians, prop up the North Koreans, back room deal and exercise their military with Russian in joints training. They are a major player in the Darfur crisis, and the prime enablers of the Burmese regime. They foment unrest in 3rd world, drill off our shores and and build a Navy with the sole goal of dominating the Pacific, Indian and maybe even Atlantic oceans.They bankroll our corrupt politicians. They mutilate , remove organs, forcefully abort children and oppress any dissenters. They have no conscious, no ethical standards of business or manufacturing and intentionally poison our medication and our pet food.
So where am I to be concerned about a pitifully tiny drop in the bucket to the Chinese War Monster? China is a scourge released upon the earth.

These are my thoughts exactly. I would even go so far as to expect a possible tripling or quadrupling of the numbers. I truly hope not, but in these kinds of catastrophes the governments always seem to low ball the death estimates.
