McCain and BOR have a lot in common.
They both want to be loved by the left. And they are both stupid enough to believe they can play both sides, it never works and won't this time.
McCain may still win due to the fact that boma is so polarizing.
But BOR will never ever get even close to Rush in numbers(audience) even though he gets the left over affiliates on his radio show. He just is no Rush and never will be.

Democrats gave us welfare queens and the entitlement welfare programs. It took Repubicans to change it. Bill Clinton vetoed the change until reelection came up and he signed the bill and claimed he was the one to change welfare as we knew it.
IF Democrats win, I am certain we will have new problmes that Republicans will need to clean up in a few years.

Exactly, that's why the VP pick is ever so important! I sure as hell hope it's not the huckster.

Good morning AB, All,
Decided to drop in and let you all know that I survived the operation. Had FOUR, count ‘em, FOUR, coronary bypasses.
That was last Monday, was released this past Thursday, am now home recovering, doing very well except things tend to hurt.
But I move about, life is good, I am alive.
First thing I see is Dave Axlerod on Fox and I am reminded of “the campaign”.
I think it’s time for Hill to wrap it up, what you all think?
Now I must quake in fear that Obama might be my President. And Michelle, HORRORS, our first lady.
God gave me a mission with this heart thing coming out of nowhere. Don’t know what it is but everything takes on a different hue when you’ve at life as someone damn near close to dead.
But they ain’t shut me up yet, folks.
Heh.

Agree. As we get into the general election campaign, McCain is going to move further and further to the Left to court moderates and independents. He will also pander to Hispanics. His upcoming speech at the La Raza National conference will be an indicator of how far he will go in this regard. McCain is going to depress Rep turnout, which is going to hurt Reps downticket. The more his positions become known, the more he hurts other Reps. And so far, his fund raising has struck a dry hole.

I understand. Just think of another Ruth Bader Ginsberg nominated for the Supreme Court.
McCain isn’t great but he is better than Obama or Hillary would ever be. The Supreme Court alone would mean decades of influence, not just one presidential cycle.

Some of the rumors I have heard are that she wants Barry to pick up her debt(including what hillbill loaned to the campaign) and a VP slot. She will probably settle for the debt and somewhere else like the Supreme Court or another appointment. I still think Hussein's old lady will keep her out of his adm. at any cost.

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day greetings to all the ladies!
Ellen RATner declared this morning that no matter if it is Hillary or Obama, a DEM will be president. She then gleefully told Jim P. she can't wait to see his face on Inauguration Day. Jim said that Mrs. Clinton is finished...her only hope is to run for governor of NY in 2010. Oh, joy.

Of one thing you can be certain, the Dem convention will be a lovefest stressing unity. IMO, there is no way that the Dems go into the convention without the nominee being already decided—at least informally thru committed super delegates.

As long as the big players are more afraid of the CCF than the "change for a dollar crowd", Hillary will still be queen. The minute that equation changes watch out. I have a clue for them: If she gets control of DOJ, IRS, FBI, etc., she will be indeed be a force to be feared.
Without them all she has is her blackmail factory. Not insignificant, but a lot less power to destroy than CIC of the still most powerful nation on earth.

Yeah, I was amazed at that one. ha.
Looks like the Hildebeast threw all the African Americans under the bus, how will she recoup that in 2012?

Glad to see your smiling face on the thread, Pat! ;)
Quake in fear is right. As much as I despiiiiiiiiise Bonnie and Clyde, I do not want Barry and Michelle in the WH. There is something so creepy and smug and arrogant about him...and that nasty wife! I fear I may not be able to turn on my TV for four years. Heck, even now it's an Obamamercial wherever you turn. Will America get sick and tired of the fainting and swooning of the messiah candidate?
