McCain has to do something. A lot of folks are very unhappy and will not vote for him. Romney might bring some of those folks back.

Nothing would please me more, than to have Mitt Romney as McCain’s VP choice.

McCain is too stupid to select someone like Romney. Look for McCain to select someone like Jack Kemp, Lindsay Graham or Joe Lieberman. McCain is a “slow leak”.

Well this makes more sense than the thread we had on here earlier saying Huckabee was going to be McCain’s running mate. I guess best bet is to simply just wait and see.

No. I like Mitt for 2012, and anyone attached to McBackstabbers’ loss in November is going to have that stink on them.

I’m for Sarah Palin. Gov. of Alaska. She would be the best VP choice in history.

>>>>>...[Romney] staked for himself a position as leader for the conservative future.

Only if you suspend reality. Romney is no conservative. He's a life long liberal, just like Giuliani.

I read another article just today that said he has already picked Huckabe.

I would like to see Romney for VP if only to see the anti-Romney people here on FR blow a gasket.

Mitt is a gun grabbing, “assault weapons” hating, big govt medical mandating, commie as far as I'm concerned.

Mitt's hatred of the 2nd Amendment makes him unworthy of being a dog catcher let alone Governor or president.

If McCain actually attains the presidency, it will not matter who is the Vice President.

It might as well be Carrot Top or Pee Wee Herman.

I can't even believe we are even discussing this.

So the way to woo back conservatives is to choose a vp who said during a Republican presidential debate: I like mandates, mandates work?

I think there’s enough north-east liberals in the race, why add another?
