Uhh.... The Incas were in South America I believe. Ecuador,Peru etc. The Aztecs were in Mexico,but I do see your point.

One slight catch with that claim... The modern descendants of the Incas could only claim gold which originated from Peru, not Mexico (that would be the Aztecs)...

I have a coin that I wear all the time, Mexico and Spain would be fighting over it. It was found on the wreck of the Spanish ship the Atocha in the Caribbean where it had laid for about 400 years. The silver was mined in Mexico and the coin was minted there but it never made it to Spain. It is mine now!
