Iran's Supreme Leader: US root-cause of insecurity, instability in region

Iran-Supreme Leader-Persian Gulf Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Thursday that presence of US troops in the Persian Gulf region and Iraq is the root-cause of rampant 'insecurity and instability' in the region.

Addressing thousands of enthusiastic people in the city of Lar in Fars province, the Supreme Leader said the great Iranian people with reliance on Islam have got united and are determined to defend their dignity and identity.

"Islam has brought us freedom, independence, dignity, public welfare and all-out development and this nation is determined to attain its lofty goals," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Iran has established friendly and brotherly ties with its neighboring Arab states as well as other regional states and this is a source of concern for the US and the Zionist regime, underlined the Supreme Leader.

Ayatollah Khamenei also urged all Muslims to forge unity to thwart plots hatched by the enemies.

Global hegemony spares no efforts to frighten the Persian Gulf littoral states from Iran, pointed out Ayatollah Khamenei.

Iran has always stretched its hands of friendship towards its neighbors, said the Supreme Leader.

The US and the Zionist regime are doing their best to sow seeds of discords among Muslim countries and this requires these states to be vigilant, underlined the Supreme Leader.

Islamic Iran and its great nation are united and are to bring their rough enemies to their knees, said Ayatollah Khamenei.

Existing brotherly ties between Shias and Sunni in Larestan is a good example of unity among Muslims, pointed out the Supreme Leader.

"Unity is the key which thwarts all plots hatched by the global arrogance," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Since the US has been bugged down in Iraq they try to put the blames on others, pointed out the Supreme Leader.

Referring to false accusations raised by the US about Iran's involvement in Iraq's insecurity, the Supreme Leader said the presence of US troops in Iraq is enough to incite the Iraqi people against them.

On regional developments, the Supreme Leader said the US interference in the issue of Palestine and the country's all-out support for the Zionist regime have complicated the problem of Palestine, adding that the wise and freedom-seeking nation of Palestine has chosen their democratic government but the US through its unlawful interventions and backing the Zionist regime is the main cause of unrest and disorders.

There is no doubt that the issue of Iraq and Palestine will be solved and then after nothing will be left from dignity and identity of the global arrogance, said Ayatollah Khamenei.

The Supreme Leader thanked the people in Fars provinces for their warm hospitality during his stay in the province.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wound up his visit to this southern province Thursday noon and departed for Tehran.

The Supreme Leader who had arrived in the city of Larestan this morning to meet the local residents, left the city after he was warmly seen off by local officials, including the representative of Vali-ye Faqih (religious jurisprudence) in the province and its Friday prayer leader, governor-general and other senior officials.

Ayatollah Khamenei arrived in Shiraz last Wednesday morning amid warm welcome of enthusiastic people.

During his nine-day stay, the Supreme Leader travelled to various cities of the province, met local residents, families of martyrs and war veterans, officials, elites, university students and clerics.

There is no doubt about it, He has not read the last book of his Injil(New Testament), or he thinks that is the part that has been tampered with by Jews and Christains.

If you think the US is the problem, Mr. Ahmadinejad, then do something about it.

I think many Americans, myself among them, still remember the hostage crisis and harbor a desire for “payback.”

Dear Iammadjohn, light of my liver:

The region has been unstable since the dawn of written history, long before the USA was even thought of, and your homeland has been a big part of that instability all along.

The United States could eliminate the Iranian problem once and for all in short order if we just had the willpower and the guts to do it.

As far as Iraq goes:

1. Call off all attacks and play nice for six months
2. When we leave, do not attack us
3. You will have the war to yourselves.

Will this stop the war on terror? NO!
Israel gave up the GAZA strip (for peace) and all they got was rockets that can fly farther into Israel; no peace; no security; and no end in sight.

“IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER AND DEMOCRATS ARE IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT”

So what is new. Both whacko sides hate America and blame GW for everything that has happened or hasn’t happened.

We had better be getting the willpower and guts very soon because they intend to do a number on us as soon as they get the nukes.
