ABC News Radio reports this morning that the Clinton campaign has canceled all tv and radio as well as ground campaign events for Wednesday and a strategy meeting is scheduled for Thursday clearing her calendar as well.
Fox News reported a bit of this last hour as well...
No, but nobody figured she'd come within 25 thousand votes of losing Indiana. That's a big deal.
What was interesting to me is that as the pressure cranked up so did her energy level until she was running all over the place like the Mad Hatter, spouting the most inane and grandiose declarations: I’ll obliterate iraq, give the Arabs our nuclear umbrella, take on OPEC, etc. etc.
As you say, they need to be as far from the White House as possible.
I thought he looked oddly detached.
I agree. I played around with the delegate calculator at cnn.com and I could not find any scenario where she could win. If the Beast won the remaining contests by 80% she still comes up short. If she won the remaining contests by 70%, she still needs 65% of the superdelagates to vote for her. The only reason I can see for her staying in is that she is trying to wound Obama so he loses to McCain and she can try to re-anoint herself as the front-runner in 2012.
"A whole new gaggle of fresh, nubile young interns... so close... so damnably, damnably CLOSE -- !!!" ;)
oh, dont get me started on the RNC! ;=)
I really want to see the sh!t flying between these 2 snakes as things tense up.
Any news about who made those bomb threats against Obama's offices? Care to take a guess anyone :-) :-) ??
I would actually say that with her legs, she is more like "The Log Lady". ;-)
Clinton is not giving up.
She claimed victory in Indiana before
any definitive decision or concession by her
challenger.
Quitting in not an option for a Clinton.
She looks like she could eat hay and pull a wagon.
What’s so surprising is that whites in Indiana didn’t vote for Hillary in the numbers expected despite Rev. Wright. That’s also a problem for McCain.
All my meals will stay down for a change. No Canklicious to make me frow up in my mouff.
I have to tell you, I am scared to death of Obama. My gut tells me he is far worse than Clinton.
She’s totally amoral. But IMHO, Obama is a black caucus socialist, the most liberal man in the senate with a wife that hates whites and feels owed. Who can sit under the preaching of a man filled with hate and bitterness for “the culture of white men” without a problem. Who won’t wear a flag. And no one seems to understand how bad he is, with the MSM is spinning for him like mad.
He’s already said he will appoint judges for “social and economic justice” (that wonderful fascist euphamism for “I don’t want you to have something because I don’t have it or I don’t think it’s good for you - so I’ll take it from you by government force.”).
He’s said he is for nuclear disarmament. He’s said he will give Iraq to Iran. He’ll let terrorists free, because it’s “wrong” to even wiretap them.
He tried to pass a bill that would drain billions of our wealth to places like Africa. He’s said he would raise capital gains even though he knows it doesn’t work, because it’s not “fair” that people should have money. He’s said guns should be controlled.
And most frightening of all, he’s said flat out that he’s unhappy with America as it is and he’s going to change it, and he’s going to start with YOUR backyard. And he’ll probably have a large majority senate and house to help him drag us into miserable socialism and weakness.
When I hear the crowds screaming change, change, my stomach hurts. I don’t want change. I like the freedoms I have, that that our soldiers have died for. Whatever Obama’s pushing, it’s NOT personal freedom.
And it makes me angry, if people think this blessed country is so terrible, there are plenty of socialist countries to live in and enjoy there what he wants to make us into.
I am terrified of Obama. And I will be surprised if we get even through four years of him without some sort of terror attack that will make the towers look like Romper Room. He’s going to learn a sad Jimmy Carter lesson, and we are all going to learn it with him.
oh, geez. Rant off/
Is that another Huma joke?
Good point. She's nutso.
