I agree with you about the LDS genealogy records, they are great for research. As far as the baptism after death deal, hey...go ahead and pour out the water, I don’t think it changes a thing. Dead is dead and it’s to late for do overs. That is my belief.

The official doctrine on the subject says the person for whom the baptism is performed is free to accept or reject it as well.
