Excellent article, thanks for the post - and that’s no lie.

And old football coach once said “When crap meets crap, someone still has to win”...this article should be a lesson to those who turn up their noses at McCain that he is in a completely different universe than these other two.

Democrats Offer Electorate Horrific Hobson’s Choice

Not really.

Regardless of how similar the Radicals' candidates are, one must be worse than the other, and less electable in the final elections.

Therein lies the only hope.

I know this to be the only redeeming grace about the "choice".

The final election will decide.
I can never repeat this too often: Ballots decide elections.
Polls are useless.
I universally ignore polls.

I am my own person, aware and informed enough not to"need" to hear about "polls".
I make up my own mind.

Lotta truth there, but it’s not even the half of it.

The sad thing here is that they both can’t lose the nomination, go away and never be heard from again.

The only thing I disagree with here is that saying “Obama can’t win” is racist code for “a black man can’t win”. Actually, it’s just telling the truth, Obama can’t win, and not because he is black. The author herself gives plenty of justification for the statement.

Good post. My favorite line:

“It simply boggles the mind that out of over-300-million American citizens, the best that the Democrat Party can offer its leftist followers is the choice between a pathologically lying socialist and a Marxist in liberal clothing. “

And the pubs offer the same.

Yes, the Democrats have truly scraped the bottom of the barrel in 2008; I would be surprised if either a Senator Obama or a Senator Clinton can break 40% of the popular vote.

Even the relatively more popular Bill Clinton only managed 49% in his second presidential campaign; Mr. Clinton was elected the first time with only 43% of the popular vote, and I don't think either Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Obama will even get close to that dismal figure.

The Democrats may be offering a Hobson's choice, but if Operation Chaos backfires--and it could--Rush Limbaugh and his "ground troops" may find themselves with a pyrrhic victory.

It certainly does boggle the mind.
