I’m sorry, I’ve been pretty sick. Losing strength. Still can’t lay down due to the pain in my left leg so I’m sleeping in my chair, but the pressure sores are making it miserable. Right leg seems to be ok. The home nurse has been stopping by each day to change my dressings. Going to the VA today regarding my diabetes. Also need to find out what combination of pills is making me sick.
Carry his weight until the sores wash away;
Look deeply into his eyes so that Jim's doctors will find their answers there;
And keep an angel at his side at all times, whispering into his ear the names of all those willing him to heal and gain strength.

Urgent prayers for you, Jim. It does sound like some of the meds are making you feel sick. Medicine is often worse than what it is designed to cure. May the doctors get to the answer and quicklyi. I still think you should check in to the hospital for a few days. You really need some critical care. You are not sleeping and probably not eating right either. You need to be in bed with a sedative so you can get some needed rest. End of sermon. I will continue to pray for a turn around ASAP. ((((Jim)))))

We are back to homebound too Jim.
After 4months of go go King Vanity has fell back in his pattern on Lung Spams, high tone, GI issues all due to extreme Cerebral Palsy as he fell ill a year ago with the bowel shut down.
This time he managed to kick his big toe somewhere while thrashing so he is medicated to keep him from thrashing around and let the toe heal.
Just Damn.
Luckily I have a nurse once a week come in so I can get out for a breather (to my own doc appts and a swim in the local pool)
So we are down for the count along with ya bro.
The doc started me on the Glucophage too not becuase my A1c is high but to help lose weight and it does make you sick to your stomach and kinda weak and woozy.
Not too mention being in the level of pain your in that will really bring you down mentally.
My back has not been right since the last injury 1 annd a half years ago....can no longer bend over or reach without freezing in pain...so I know the mental angst not being as physically agile to care for King Vanity.
Look at the upside though we are not spending money on gas and the diabetic meal plan is cheap.
Prayers continue for healing.
King Vanity has 2 stoma sites and I have always used saf-gel which is an algeon lube but I relize with your diabetes the pressure sores take a looooong time to heal.
Our thoughts for Mrs. Robinson too.
