I’m sorry, I’ve been pretty sick. Losing strength. Still can’t lay down due to the pain in my left leg so I’m sleeping in my chair, but the pressure sores are making it miserable. Right leg seems to be ok. The home nurse has been stopping by each day to change my dressings. Going to the VA today regarding my diabetes. Also need to find out what combination of pills is making me sick.

God Speed Brother!
I have also been suffering some of the rigors of getting older and being reminded of the sacrifices I made in my youth are now starting to show. (Some related to my Military service.)
I haven’t yet had to resort to the V.A. but that may be a later option.
I mostly hope you are relieved of your pain and the healing begins ASAP, if not yesterday. You are in good hands and have the thoughts and prayers of all your Brothers in Arms.
Later FRiend, (Psycho)

Keep up the fight. In 21 years of combating this devilish disease, along with the attendant heart and kidney complications, I have learned that the most effective tools are good communications with a good physician, regular checkups with lab work, medicine and behavior adjustments. The periodic spells of exhaustion are what I find most difficult. I use constant blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring to my advantage. I shattered my knee four years ago and know what leg trouble feels like. Exercise is tough but necessary when you hurt!!
All my encouragement and God Bless.

If you are losing strength, then we need to pray even harder for you. And we will!
The fight you are in is not an easy one, but please draw strength from the fact that so many people are pulling for you and praying for you.

I’m so sorry for all of your troubles.
I’ve read that eating high fiber foods (gradual intake until your body gets used to it) helps with diabetes.
