Gas is cheap? GAS IS CHEAP???

Excuse me?

Try telling that those of us who are being killed financially by the rising prices at the pump. And don't give me this "adjusted for inflation" bullcrap. All I know is that now, instead of taking $5.00 to get 5 gallons of gas now it takes almost $20.00 and that is something my pocketbook, and the pocketbook of millions of others, can't handle.

And why is this happening?

It's because we have a bunch of yellow spined cowardly socialists in Congress who are more worried about sucker fish and kangaroo rats than they are about drilling right in our own back yard to accomodate our need for oil.

It's because of FEAR of what is happening overseas in the Middle East, fear of what Iran is doing, fear of the rebels in Nigeria, FEAR FEAR FEAR!

Gas is cheap, MY ARSE!

For what we have to do to make sure America can get oil...gas is cheap. What you pay at the pump is only a part of the price.

The high price of gas is killing the commuter real estate market. Outlying areas in my neck of the woods are not selling well as people who used to think about moving out into more rural areas stop when they consider spending $300-400/mo just to drive to work.
