Rush's Show ^ | 4/29/08 | Rush

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault. My objective was not to see that either of these two won specifically. One of them was going to. It was to see to it that just this kind of thing happened. Operation Chaos, a profound success, ladies and gentlemen.

ABC was the first to show the videos during an evening broadcast, but they stopped showing it by the next morning.

LOL! Then George Stephanopoulus is up to his neck in this. You can't tell me this is just Lady Luck for Hillary Clinton.

It’s funny. After Rush gave us McCain by attacking Huck just before SC, he suddenly switched to Romney from Fred the dead Thompson. Had he supported Mitt from day one, we wouldn’t have McCain today. He liked Fred because he LOVES his fellow $50.00 cigar smoking celebrities.

I read some of the posts on this thread until I couldn’t stomach anymore.

I believe this site has been hijacked by so many pseudo conservatives it is unbelievable.

No matter what anyone thinks of Rush, he is THE major voice of Conservatism in this country and doesn’t deserve the bashing he is receiving on this thread, and no, I’m not a ‘Rush Bot’, I’m just a Conservative who supports Conservative values.

The thing is: Rush was never even that bullish on Fred. For a long time, Rush was openly flirting with the idea of supporting Guiliani.

Beyond that, I think you're right. If he really wanted to influence the election in a positive manner he should have chose a GOP candidate to endorse back around NH and then stuck with him. Instead, he waited until McCain had the momentum and then vaciliated between Fred and Mitt.

True, but on the day of the SC primary he made a point of attacking Huck and praising Fred giving McCain the win and momentum going into FL.

Rush: "If Hillary wins it isn't going to be my fault!"

Damn straight, Rush! I personally hope Hillary gets the nomination and then kicks McCain's butt this fall. I know that's not what you have in mind but any party so stupid as to nominate John McCain is too stupid to run the country. McCain will destroy the party that Reagan built. I want no part in that.

That's a little like wishing you got AIDS because you don't want the clap.

The next to the last thing I want is for Hillary or any Democrat to become president but the last thing I want is for McCain to win. I am angry beyond words with the way conservatives are rolling over for that piece of crap. Voting for McCain is like selling your soul to the devil.

Rush attacked Huckabee before SC and supported Fred who was trailing badly.

1. Huckabee ISN'T a conservative. By attacking Huck, Rush was doing his job.

2. Rush steadfastly pointed out in the face of a wave of vocal support for Mike "Christian Leader" Huckabee that identity politics are intolerable regardless of whether it's practiced by the black male or white female Dems or Baptist Republicans.

3. People complained that the reason Fred didn't catch fire was because Rush didn't endorse him!

4. Fred didn't catch fire because of Fred, not because of Rush.

5. Rush warned over a year ago that McCain would be the nominee if the GOP didn't get behind bonafide conservative candidates in the November 2007 election instead of continuing to throw support behind the likes of Lincoln Chafee.

6. If you were paying attention in 2006, Rush said that he felt "liberated" after the GOP screwed itself into a minority because he didn't like having to make the case for the administration when it refused to make its own case.

They still don't get it. And neither do you. It doesn't matter who the Dems put up, McCain's got to run a winning campaign. As recently as last Friday, when he excoriated Republicans who had the nerve to attack Barack Obama, he's shown he doesn't know how to do that.

Sooner or later, O'Bama would take care of himself, as is happening now with his Wright baggage.

I wish it would happen later, after Obama has diposed of Hillary once and for all.

If Hillary wins the nomination, I see no scenario where she’d win the general.

People said that about Bill Clinton too...

Even mclame could have won against obama, but hillary! will be much harder to beat.

Hillary campaigned relentlessly in PA, and democrats came out and LOVED her where ever she appeared. When Hillary came to my area, my daughter drove by and said mobs of people on their way to the event were all over the sidewalks carrying homemade signs. Clueless Republicans have no idea how much democrats ADMIRE her...

Rush Limbaugh has consistently underestimated the Clintons since 1992 and consistently predicted their demise. He swore that Hillary would never run for the Senate and, if she did, she wouldn't win. Before that, he predicted Bill would lose in both 1992 and 1996.

I remember when Rush said not to worry about Perot taking votes from Republicans......

"BAAAWAAAAHHH....does Rush reach out of the radio, grab you, and take you to the polling place?"

Perhaps you cannot read? Is that your problem? I think it is! What do you think the following sentence means!

"We Texans don’t take to your fatt-butt telling us what to do."

Yup.

And alot of folks here (big blabber Rushbo as well) seem to have forgotten that if you look up the word “SLICK” in the dictionary, there’s a picture of Bill and Hill attached...

She’s dangerous. And people continually underestimate her.

BO would have been much more vulnerable in the general, his skeletons would be positively parading out of the closet.

She’s gonna get the supers to go her way, garner the nomination, and offer veep to BO.

And the combined ticket wins in November.

And yes, I do blame Rush. They were standing over her coffin with stake in hand and it was his inept meddling that in part kept them from driving it in.
