Rush: "If Hillary wins it isn't goint to be my fault!"
Rush's Show ^ | 4/29/08 | Rush

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault. My objective was not to see that either of these two won specifically. One of them was going to. It was to see to it that just this kind of thing happened. Operation Chaos, a profound success, ladies and gentlemen.

I think it’s as much psychological warfare as anything.

You think?

That's no way to fight a war, lady.

Do you sit at your computer waiting for these threads?

Look at the idiot's history. Yes, he does.........Once the threads surface, he has to go change his jammies......

It would be even more ironic if it turns out that the Chaos deniers were actually closet Obamabots....

Keep denying the split in the Republican party caused by Rush not holding Bush's feet to the fire over his massive spending, new gov't programs like Med Part D etc

Rush and Bush have literally killed the Republican party over the last few years. Split it like a bolt of lightning.

If Rush and Hannity don't give the Wright story legs Obama for sure wins the nomination, now he for sure does not.

The Wright story has been as much an MSM event as anything. Lest we forget the Pennsylvania debate? His speech at the NAACP? His speech Monday? All these were covered, and there's as much dyspepsia among liberal bloggers and writers as anywhere over this. We can't give all that much credit to Rush and Hannity.

In case you haven't heard, Hannity has been pounding on the Wright issue since sometime last year, long before ABC discovered it.

ABC was the first to show the videos during an evening broadcast, but they stopped showing it by the next morning.

It was then Rush and Hannity that jumped in and kept it going.

I must disagree. If there’s anyone who’s been put through the Clintonian house of mirrors and knows what they are capable of through and through, it’s been Rush.

Rush Limbaugh has consistently underestimated the Clintons since 1992 and consistently predicted their demise. He swore that Hillary would never run for the Senate and, if she did, she wouldn't win. Before that, he predicted Bill would lose in both 1992 and 1996.

They're like the roadrunner to his Wile E Coyote or something.

"It will happen this way. You may be walking. Maybe the fiirst sunny day ofthe spring, and a carwill slow besideyou, and the doorwill open, and someoneyou know, maybe even trust, will get out ofthe car. And he will smile, a becoming smile. But he will leave open the door of the car and offer to give you a lift.

Max von Sydow in "Three Days of the Condor"

But, I have to admit I don't get it...want to explain?

Now I can’t stand the sound of his name.

We know, you've let us know that ad nauseum...........

Do everyone and yourself a favor, avoid the Rush threads.........Your continuous vocal dislike of Rush and your compulsive desire to keep informing us over, and over, and over again is very disturbing.

Go back to your porn site, you'll get faster satisfaction and you can fall asleep with a smile...........

Rush has been wrong about the Clintons since ‘92. First he said the Democrats at the 92 convention would be drinking the Koolaid, and even had Snerdly set up a Koolaid stand on the streets outside the convention center.

He boldly made this statement in 1996: “Bob Dole will be our next president!”

He predicted that Hillary would not run for the Senate.

He predicted that she would not win the Senate race.

He predicted that she would not run for president.

Doesn’t sound like someone who knows what the Clintons are capable of to me.

Hillary will chew up that old geezer McCain in the election like nothing flat. She is a ruthless beast that should have been stoppped long ago.

All he will do is give that sh*t eating grin and say “Hello Friends...”

So, make sure you don’t vote for her in the General Election.

If it gets that far, it will be too late.

Rush is on air 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, live. If that’s the best you’ve got on his being “wrong”, good luck pal.

You were telling us how our death would happen. And I'm saying it would be facilitated by someone we trust.

AT THIS POINT IN TIME, neither Democrat is looking at an easy win. All is not lost. Cheer up.

Hillary polled almost 10 points ahead of McCain the other day, making it at least not completely obvious that McCain could beat her in the general...which is my only point and my only concern. I am persuaded that Obama is the more beatable candidate in the run against McCain. That's why I get exercised at the idea that commentators have been firing volley after volley at Obama before seeing the whites of his eyes as the Democrat nominee.

But, hey, I've been wrong before, and I hope I am this time...

Is there a distinction in your mind between being a “Rush-basher” and being a “Rush-critic”? If not, it’s pointless to discuss it; if so, count me as one of the latter on the question at issue here (not on everything, by any means).

Besides, under the felon and chief Clinton we had less spending, smaller deficients and republicans occasionally acted as if they a principles and the backbone to exercise them, I doubt that our fate will be so good under McCain.

I'm so glad to hear someone say this. I actually fear a McCain presidency as much as I do Obama or Clinton - maybe even more. Yeah, Clinton did a lot of damage during his presidency, but I don't think he was as bad of a president as Jimmy Carter. I think McCain could be another Carter though - I shudder to think about it.

The way I see it - if Obama or Clinton wins - it's nobody's fault except John Sidney McCain's! He's just an awful candidate.
