That even the prophet of a child rape cult can feel down, what with the convictions for rape for leading that "marriage rape" activity in Utah, and now having been dragged to Arizona to face more rape charges on the cults "marriage rape" religious practices.
It is good for him to know that even though he handpicked the people he assigned to the Texas compound as the most devoted ones, that so many people would think that it would be that very group that would ignore the holy practices of the cults religion. It is his picture that hangs over the beds of the children at the Texas compound.
To make the comparison just, let’s say you were living in a group that was inbred from practicing polygamy for the last 150 years, and let’s say this group as a matter of fact evicted it’s boys routinely so that old men could have multiple wives, and let’s say the founder of this group was himself a poltgamist (i.e. Joseph Smith) and there was direct polygamous lineage through Brigham Young right to a guy named Warren Jeffs, and say there were numerous cases of forced marriages of underage girls, and that authorities had known about the abuse for decades,
At What Point would this not have any relationship to religious oppression and have everything to do with slavery and child molestation?

This cult has been raided in 1935, 1944, 1953, and 2008, eluded a raid in Utah in 2006 because they were told of the 80 warrants and the named persons scattered to safe houses and other compounds and they barely missed a raid in Canada, and none of the raids were like Waco.
