To make the comparison just, let’s say you were living in a group that was inbred from practicing polygamy for the last 150 years, and let’s say this group as a matter of fact evicted it’s boys routinely so that old men could have multiple wives, and let’s say the founder of this group was himself a poltgamist (i.e. Joseph Smith) and there was direct polygamous lineage through Brigham Young right to a guy named Warren Jeffs, and say there were numerous cases of forced marriages of underage girls, and that authorities had known about the abuse for decades,
At What Point would this not have any relationship to religious oppression and have everything to do with slavery and child molestation?
