Well I disagree, I think HillBilly is the more competetive Democrat in the general.. she’s got the machine and organization. Fauxbama has no chance in a general.. he shouldn’t have survived the vetting to be in the primary race more than a few weeks, but the press refusing to truly question a black man, and HillBilly running a poor campaign have left him in this thing as long as they have.
I don’t think either of them can win a general, but I think HillBilly will perform far better in the general than fauxbama. He’s only had to face moderately tough questions maybe twice so far on this campaign and he’s crumpled like the empty suit he is, both times. He’s gotten caught in lies, and handled them poorly.. etc etc etc.. this guy is just not remotely capable of surviving a general election.
More Clintonian fodder...Obama will not lose by
11 points in Penn....closer to 3-5 points..JK
VIVA! Operation Chaos!
It’s just a bunch of bitter small town voters voting their bitterness — and now Obama is going to feel bitter too.
She’s broke so somebody has to pony up for her to keep this side show on the road.
Its not about the elected delegates, never has been.. face it. Fauxbama’s lead in delegates comes from caucus voters, not primary voters.
This is all about spin for the Convention. The only way this thing doesn’t go to the convention would be if fauxbama spanked HillBilly by 20 points in PA, and that’s not going to happen. Fauxbama went from making it close/competative to possibly pulling off an upset, to guaranteeing himself a large margin loss by getting caught stating the truth in San Fran.
He’s outspent HillBilly insanely here, and her misteps particularly in trying to turn the bosnia lie into a joke on national TV may have given Fauxbama an opening to honestly beat her.. but his San Fran stuff will cost him dearly. He loses the state by 5 points with the spending differential that should make the superdelegates pause big time voting for him... he loses it by 10+ then they have to know he has zero chance in a general election.
If the superdelegates vote [ read steal the nomination] for Clinton over Obama, it will fracture the Dem party irrevocably. I can’t see that happening. We are talking about not only this election, but future ones. The only caveat is that they may force Obama on the ticket as VP in a bid to unify the party. I doubt that would help much given the appearance that the black man was being asked to play second fiddle to the white woman even though he won more delegates thru the ballot box.
Oh, how I hope so.
And vintage Clinton pre-election spin begins like clockwork.
I don’t think so. She’s disagreeable, but far more knowledgeable. She beat Obama hands down in the debate last week. She can look impressive. She never will to me, but if you’re inclined toward her side, she can be. I think that from here and out, Obama is going to show himself to be the leftist, empty suit that he is.
Ding, Ding, Ding.. it is all about ratings.. It is nothing more than a reality TV show to the media.
Suspect your analysis on the before and after ‘cling’ comment is accurate. But figure a few percent margin of error is what I’m considering.
Obama’s problem may turn out to be his margins not large enough in the urban areas. The poor urban folks usually find other things to do than get to the polls.
If this doesn’t make an exception to them, nothing will.
Heard Obama is killing her on spending in the state. He’s acting on the idea that if he can keep it to a few points, she will be pressed to drop out due to money and loss of support.
On that score, he’s right. And the lad isn’t ‘right’ bout much anything.
I like Rush but this is very overstated. The numbers will be huge and you must be a registered Democrat in PA to vote in the primary. Don’t see the numbers impacting this. But prove me wrong.
This is great news. Hopefully hillary wins by 15 points, the races in NC and Indiana are brutal. And hillary wins big in Puerto Rico, and carries the popular vote into the convention. If clinton ends up as the nominee, my question is will obama accept the veep. If not, the democrat party as we know it is no longer a viable political entity.
Nice!
Assuming that Hillary drops out, the MSM will get in line behind Obama 100%.
In order for BHO to face any "tough questions" they are going to have to come from John McCain.
Whaddya think the odds are that that will happen??
