How do you tell the difference between democrats,  republicans, and southern republicans?

Answer: Pose the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with the wife and two small children.  Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying a Glock 40,    and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?
   _____________

   Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

   Could we run away?

   What does my wife think?

   What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety features built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does  this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing ME?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to    wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

   Should I call
9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

   This is all so confusing!!

I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.
   ______________

   Republican's Answer:

   BANG!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! CLICK!

Daughter: "Nice grouping, Daddy! Were those the Winchester Silver Tips??

Lol, good one!

That's a humorous story, yet it also highlights the thinking behind a very real threat to our fundamental rights as guaranteed by the Constitution, especially whenever any liberal is elected to office.

The following excerpted from the Washington Post is just the tip of the iceberg:

Washington Post

Revisiting Gun Control

Democrats Wary Of Tightening Laws
Split With Party Conservatives Feared

By Jonathan Weisman and Jeffrey H. Birnbaum
Washington Post Staff Writers
Wednesday, April 18, 2007; Page A13

"...The largest mass shooting in U.S. history forced reluctant Democratic leaders in Congress yesterday to confront an issue that divides their party and holds considerable political peril: gun control.

Advocates of stricter gun laws, such as Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), met with Democratic leaders, determined to resurrect an issue that has been dormant since the shootings at Columbine High School near Denver in 1999. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) elicited a pledge from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) to hold a hearing on the shootings..."

BATHROOMS

A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from M&S.

The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337.

A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

Thank you for sharing your optical illusions.  I have been wandering around all day...

I found this in my travels today and thought that you both might like to have it.  The 1st link has a little write-up about the "silhouette", with a 2nd link to a web-site that has a copyright on it.  Both of those sites use "flash" (.swf file).

I just thought that you might to know.

I guess that I forgot to come back here -- I just sorta wandered off for the day and enjoyed...

Here is a short, but VERY POWERFUL video of
Barack “Milhous” Obama and his “Pastor”, the
wrong Pastor Wright:
