In our nation's history, there are few images more heroic, more sacred in a civil sense, than that of the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima. Time has now twisted, and enlisted, that image for its "war against global warming."
Time editor Rick Stengel, making his regular Thursday appearance on Morning Joe to tout the week's cover story, naturally thought it was a wonderful idea. He also explained why Time decided to editorialize in favor of a "massive" effort to combat global warming.

Time is populated with swine. I’m surprised they didn’t make the crucifix immersed in urine a cover story. Perhaps they did. I do not really care.
“Swine”, or “pig”, as such, is an interesting epithet. It says that the target of the epithet is amoral, devoid of morals. Interestingly, it does not question the evil of what they do—that is assumed—just that they are indifferent to the fact. They deny that good and evil exist.
A swinish person does not care who they offend, who they oppress, or even who they kill. An absence of morality can also be equated with sociopathic behavior.
Importantly, it is not psychopathic, but sociopathic. A psychopath is incapable of feeling empathy for others. A sociopath has learned to completely disregard empathy for others.
A sociopath, therefore, can be and often is filled to the brim with hate, and a neurotic sense of inferiority masked as a superiority complex. They insist they are better than others. Specifically, more *moral* than others. More *moral* by their state of being *amoral*.
They try to surround themselves with those they see as “defectives”, a trait common as well with psychopaths. They fear and distrust the honest and honorable, and see their honor as a mask hiding their faults. This is why they try to tear down the honest and honorable.
So if you go to the offices of Time Magazine, who will you find? First you will notice that they wear their hate on their sleeve as proudly as a Nazi wore his armband. They seem to have a bottomless reservoir of hate, for those they choose to hate.
But then you will see their arrogant pride. Importantly, not pride in whatever accomplishments they have been awarded, but pride that these awards make them *better* than others. And this is an important point. They are obsessed with receiving awards, and it doesn’t matter for what. They want a trophy case full of awards, even if they have to buy them, themselves.
Then scratch the surface of their arrogant pride, and you will find a truly miserable person underneath. Deeply unhappy with their lives, cursing the unfairness of things, enraged at those they know are better than them. Often they hate every element of their lives.
Add it all up, and this is what you see in their writings.
The writings of swine. Filled with hate, bile and despair.
Welcome to Time Magazine. Though you can find the same at Newsweek, and many other places indeed.
That’s Nasrallah, head of Hezbollah. He does look a lot like al Sadr though
LSUfan, You’re right and I stand corrected. However, I just had some surgery yesterday and the Vicodin is obviously working as I’m not posting replies at the top of my game.
Of course Hezbollah in general and Nasrallah in particular are all contemptable swine nonetheless right along with al Sadr and his sorry band of low lifes.
Best Regards, T_J
Wow, I wish these antiquated weeklies would hurry up and just be dead forever.
“I’m just waiting for some PhotoShopped pictures of the Holocaust, with the Global Warming Bedwetters removing human victims and replacing them with trees.”
LOL. Well, it’s already been done. PETA ran an ad a few years ago showing Germany’s concentration camp members and said that more chickens have died than those in the camps.
To Hell with people, imagine the horrors all those chickens experienced!!!!
Those heroic Marines in that photo were fighting for freedom. The fraudulent enviromental movement is a front for the Watermelon (green outside, red inside) Marxists who would use this hoax to impose bureaucratic tyranny and depotism upon us.
Well, post his reasons here---why not?
