Sorry, najida, but even if there’s crime committed, then there’s no excuse for the authorities to ignore the rights of innocent people. Such thinking leads to abuse and worse conditions in the long-term/big picture.
Someone else pointed out witness tampering. You’re dealing with a pretty brainwashed group. What would you do? Monitor their calls? Hope they don’t get cueing and coaxing? Plans for where to meet to regroup later?
It’s bizarre in the extreme.
It's the rights of innocent people the government is protecting here.
Or do you consider living like that a good thing? Do those women and children have ANY rights in that compound?
