OK. Tell me about Constitutional rigths.
In particular the Constitutional rights of those women and children being held in that compound.
The men clearly had them and knew how to exercise them.
As citizens of this country, do the FLDS women and children have any Constitutional rights? Were they free to exercise them? Did they know that they had Constitutional rights? Had they ever even HEARD of the Constitution?
Who was looking out for THEIR Constitutional rights? Their husbands? Each other? You? Other FReepers who are so worried about getting THEIR OWN Constitutional rights trashed that they would allow these women and children to continue living in those horrendous conditions?
The only entity that I see taking any steps to do anything to protect these women and children from further abuse and denial of their Constitutional rights, is the big, bad, evil government that’s getting shredded for its actions.
So what do you personally plan to do to help these women and children? Do you not think that what’s been going on is wrong? Will you just sit back and turn a blind eye to rape, abuse, and slavery because it’s none of your business, and yet at the same time bind the hands of the only people who are capable of stopping it?
I find it incredibly ironic that people are worried about someone’s Constitutional rights because they are not permitted to have cell phones during a criminal investigation, and yet are willing to let these people have NO Constitutional rights by forcing them to live in these conditions, where the rights of one group of people (the men) trump the rights of anyone under their control.

I wonder how I would feel if I were subject to your justice by opinion. As many have tried to make plain, there is no proof of wrong doing yet. No arrests no charges, just a raid and a whole lot of taking of children and women from their homes.
