Thank you so much for the “grab-bag” you had for Saturday Sortie, Alfa! Lots of power in some of those pictures. I loved the one of the Gaggle of C-17s.

Your “compound” is so nice and comfy looking. Though...it looks like the first step out the back door could be a steep one! LOL! I love your color combination.

Here is a pic of the back of the house before the "Great Weekend Home Improvement Project" I figured it up and 'The Project' only took about 85 weekends :-)

The area that includes the window and to the right of the window used to be a back porch. We closed that in about 1986, it was about 16feet to the ground!

Mrs alfa6 gets credit for the color scheme on the compound. We have lived here since August of 1979. Over the last ten years or so we have renovated about 95% of the house. With the help of my kids, son-in-laws and a few friends I think we have done just about all of the work ourselves.

Sometimes I wish i was not so handy, hee hee
