Another question. I have been notified by a rare breed a conservative union steward that this law also knocks off the policy of preventing school teachers from keeping a firearm in their cars in the teachers parking lots. Can you see if this is indeed the case?

(7) EXCEPTIONS.--The prohibitions in subsection (4) do not apply to: (a) Any school property as defined and regulated under s. 790.115.
You still can't have a gun in the school parking lot.
