Mayhill Fowler has more from Obama's remarks at a San Francisco fundraiser Sunday, and they include an attempt to explain the resentment in small-town Pennsylvania that won't be appreciated by some of the people whose votes Obama's seeking:
You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
That's pretty broad list of things to explain with job loss.
This will end the Obama campaign. Hillary Clinton will be the nominee by June.

When I heard these comments (and I have relatives in PA-Reading & Scranton) I thought that Obama pretty much ditto's the NY Times editorial board. So elect Oboma for president of the US and you pretty much have the NY Times mentality running the country. Of course the problem the republicans have is that they have a nominee who for much of the past 10 years has been obsessed with the NY Times approval.
Some conservatives including Rush Limbaugh want McCain defeated this November and Hillary Clinton has much better chances of defeating him than Obama.
Well, if that is Rush's secret agenda it is pure vindictiveness and I will never listen to him again.
I hope you are wrong on this one. I have been hoping McCain would choose a conservative VP to satisfy all of us so it wouldn't be quite so hard to hold my nose and vote GOP on Nov. 8th.
With that said, if Rush wants Hillary in the White House I think his Operation Chaos has been a joke on all of us Ditto Heads!

hillary is not going to gain anything by this because she is seen much more like the queen who thinks she’s entitled to the crown.
obama will spin it in such a way everyone will be swooning at how he “feels the pain” of these poor small-town, albeit bitter, Americans. Afterall they need help, dontcha know.

That's about the only choice besides just saying nothing for those who need to stand up to understand Rush. And Coulter too.
Anyone that would stop listening to a talk show personality or other talented political pundit because a poster here expresses an uninformed biased opinion about them would belong in the category described in your post.
A lot of typical conservatives (yes I know I said typical) don't understand what Rush, Ann Coulter and others are doing with their mastery of words.

ISN’T “OPERATION CHAOS” WORKING TO PERFECTION!
I listen to Rush but he seems to be somewhat arrogant the last couple of weeks with this Operation Chaos.
One question I would like to ask him is “Who in the hell does he want his listening audience to vote for?”
I must be one of those listeners who is stuck on stupid or simply is too dumb to “read between the lines”.
The FReeper who suggested Rush wants Hillary to be President just might have some insight into what the end game really is all about.
