The secret site where Iran is suspected of developing long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching targets in Europe has been uncovered by new satellite photographs.

The imagery has pinpointed the facility from where the Iranians launched their Kavoshgar 1 “research rocket” on February 4, claiming that it was in connection with their space programme.

Analysis of the photographs taken by the Digital Globe QuickBird satellite four days after the launch has revealed a number of intriguing features that indicate to experts that it is the same site where Iran is focusing its efforts on developing a ballistic missile with a range of about 6,000km (4,000 miles).

Why is it that folks here on FR believe that Bush will OK an attack on Iran. Ain’t gonna happen folks!

You think he wants to spend the remainder of his term fighting Impeachment proceedings 24/7?

It will be up to Pres. B. Insane Obama and the EU to have a series of “Peace in our time” meetings with Im-a-nut-job.

It is precisely President Bush’s indecisiveness and too-little too-late attitude in managing two conflicts, and his domestic policies on immigration that irk many on FR. If we woke up tomorrow to find that these missile sites had been obliterated, his approval ratings would improve greatly with his “base”. And it would be fun to see Pelosi’s head explode with rage.

I afraid this country is in the isolation mood. They think if they ignore it, it will go away. It happen right before 1940 also.

I would agree that some are, but others are just frustrated and want the US and other countries to either take decisive action or say to Iran, “Sure, do whatever the hell ya want” instead of talking about more talks about talking.

"It will be up to Pres. B. Insane Obama and the EU to have a series of ?Peace in our time? meetings with Im-a-nut-job."

Can't you just see the list of appeasement concessions that Europe and Obama would agree to to avoid an actual fight? We will have Islam and Sharia law established in European countries as preeminent and the US won't be far behind.

Liberal Europe has this peculiar delusion that they are somehow exempt from having their capital cities reduced to smouldering holes in a blinding flash because of their “progressiveness”. Oh are they wrong.
