Get your popcorn boys and girls this is going to be good.
China has lined up 1000's of supporters, while protestors range from Tibetan monks and their supporters, Burmese Monks, other critics of China, and your usual rabble rousers.

I am no fan of the ChiComs, and I could care less about the Olympics.
But the assinine behavior of the protestors makes me vaguely sympathetic to the Chi Comms.

From watching the news reports China has pulled out all of the stops to get their pro-Bejing supporters in place. The reporters are suprised at how many there are.
Personally, I see this as an opportunity to identify 1000’s of communist sympathizers.

The protesters are doing re-enactments of human rights abuses in China. I wonder how they will re-enact people held in underground caverns awaiting removal of their body parts.
I'm not going to watch this Olympics. I'll watch the next Olympics instead which will be in Canada.

vaguely sympathetic to the Chi Comms Really? I makes me giddy. The Chicoms are responsible for every act they are being villified for. Worse. They are getting off EASY.

CNN’s guy is in the pro-Chinese commie section of the torch route. One infiltrator was shoved out of the section.

My mother-in-law’s office is on the route and she said she will email me with anything she sees (if they don’t change the route).

They aren’t just communist sympathizers, they are enemy agents, all of them should be deported.

China has lined up 1000's of supporters, while protestors range from Tibetan monks and their supporters, Burmese Monks, other critics of China, and your usual rabble rousers. It is depressing to find that a totalitarian state like the PRC has "1000's of supporters" in these United States, especially just in a single locale. I wonder in aggregate just how many of these supporters exist here in the entire United States?
To: Smogger
Yeah, I guess.
I am torn because so much of China-bashing (especially from the left) is just protectionism (of unions) with a thin veil of the human rights issues.
That, and the left’s support of the Dali Llama is because he’s a pagan. You don’t see anything similiar for Jews or Christians that have equivalent or worse oppression.
(I do heartily recognize legitimate beefs with China: e.g., military threat, support of the Norks and the resulting spread of nukes, forced abortions, etc. Again, I AM NO FAN.)

The people of Tibet need to say
“give me liberty or give me death”
I wouldnt last 3 seconds living in a communist country. they would have to kill me.

Their opression of Christians, and anyone else who is not a loyal commie.
Commies make me sick. I know it’s trendy for some on the left to protest on behalf of Tibet or whatever, but genuinely the Chinese have this coming.

its pretty cool,i agree. of course,we could have millions lining up to protest and it will fall on deaf ears in our goverment. they may make some noise, but substantial acts would still be Zero.

Okay, Richard Gere got carried away after 9-11 but to be honest, he’s trying to help Tibet and I do like to see him on my tv. He’s hot.

2 men and one woman scaled suspension cables on the Golden Gate Bridge Monday to unfurl 2 banners
advocating Tibetan independence ahead of planned protests during the Olympic torch relay in San Francisco.
