I find it funny how Obama is supposed to be this unifier yet somebody around him is always spewing hatred, racism, and/or anti-american rhetoric.
Also, If he is elected President I guess we won’t be allowed to critique him.

You are not alone in wondering about those dichotomies. I’m certainly not against having a black American Pres., but Lord let it be someone like Alan Keyes, Condoleeza Rice, or J.C. Watts - even any two of those three.
Watts and Rice - now there’s a duo that would stand up for America against overseas aggressors, and enemies of Israel.

What do we expect considering the level of discussion regarding these candidates, most of which revolves around demographics built around what are really abstractions of multiple kinds, party, religious, racial ? i.e. —he needs the —fill in the blank——vote.” The Obama campaign is just continuing the project of trying to manipulate the subliminal imagery necessary to suggesting he’s all things to all men, even typical white people.

I was at a Hillary rally (had nothing better to do- Saturday,snow on the ground) and behind her staged were union members, college female students, lesbian couple with bi- racial children.
sheesh a comment like ‘we need more white people in the background’ is insulting to both blacks AND whites.

However after awhile it is exasperating watching people who are theoretically promoting harmony divide people into neat little categories in order to alienate them.
Not to mention trying their hardest to make more neat little categories by pushing out of control immigration.
