No, what CG is trying to do is show you how to read the real testament of Jesus Christ and how context and original language work together to understand passages as they should be understood. There is no dogma involved. As one of your own wrote:
If a faith will not bear to be investigated, if its preachers and professors are afraid to have it examined; their foundation must be very weak.
- Apostle George A. Smith, Journal of Discourses, v. 14, p. 216
Sounds like you faith's foundation is very weak.
****
Please do not try to ingnore when someone is tryting to tell another how to believe, by making it sound like the LDS do not welcome investigation.
I was an invetigator before I join the church it is encourage!
It would be nice if those here did investigate by the Power of the Spirit of the Lord.
But I am not holding my breath!
Who created Jesus' Father?
Oh but it is. Investigation is a life-long process, things you didn't know then you find out later. You buy a car, dealer says it is good, nice and shiny, you drive it and later, bit by bit it comes apart. What you didn't know was that the dealer lied to you, that it was hurricane salvage. Do you continue on believing the salesman or not. Many now ex mormons continued their investigation and found that Smith was like the car salesman - he lied to them and gave them a pile of junk to drive.
But you guys do NOT 'welcome investigation'!!!
YOU, and the rest of your Mormon buddies, are IGNORING the question - the INVESTIGATING question of "What was UNTRUE about PRESBYTERIANISM"!!
