Calling all monthly donors to Free Republic! We need to recreate the monthly donor list, so I am starting from scratch. If you are a monthly donor and will allow your name to be listed, please either reply on the thread, or send me a FReepmail.

I do not need the amount of your donation.

I do this to recognize those who have chosen this method to help pay the bills and to encourage others to join. Some choose not to and that is their business and all methods of donation are being true to the conservative principle of taking personal responsibility.

The list will be posted only on the FReepathon thread and will be used for no other purpose.

For me, the greatest thing would be to have enough monthly donors to eliminate FReepathons forever. Do the math:

$10 / month x 2,400 donors = the needed budget for the quarter.

So. Let me hear from current monthly donors and let’s add a bunch more!

Here where it gets tricky. I'm making a list of monthly donors. My sole reason for this is to recognize the folks who give that way and to encourage others to follow suit.

The monthly is a steady stream that can be counted on and as it increases, the need / length for Freepathons can diminish.

Dollar a Day is great.

One time donations are great.

Monthlies are what this thread is about. They are great, too.

Not wanting any contention over this. It is what it is.

Would it be preferable if I sent in a $30 check each month rather than $90 each FReepathon?

I used to do that, but found it easier to write four checks a year rather than 12.

I am there. My thinking is that I have always paid for newspapers, magazines etc. and it is only fair that as often as I use this site I certainly should pay to help support it. Other than that, I appreciate the huge amount of work and money that it takes to keep Free Republic up and running. Thanks to all and Jim Robinson in particular for providing the opportunity for our voices to be heard.
