When we lived on Cape Cod we had a small rental unit behind the house. We got a response from a real gentleman, a middle aged bachelor who cooked and read books and was professionally employed. After a week of taking applications, he was at the top of the list and we called him to let him know that he could move in at his leisure and we'd prepare the paper work.

He had a change of heart and politely bailed out.

Did I mention that he was a black guy? Who cares? He was the kind of tenant landlords pray to get. We was tested, which we didn't realize until months later when there was a story about that type of thing happening, trolling for grievances.

Obviously, publicizing the activities of this court should raise a public outcry for its demise.

It's truly difficult to understand how -- in a first world country like Canada, with a history of personal liberty -- something like the HRC could have been enacted in the first place.
