...they tell us that we need a liberal Republican to have a chance... If they were honest, they would simply admit that they want a more liberal Republican Party, (or one without a platform).
IMO, they can't be so stupid as to do this over-and-over again unless they wanted the Party to turn left.

That’s a very interesting article from 2000. It reminds us that McCain’s foreign policy was nothing more than a fit of oppositional pique, including his stand on the Iraq war. He turned out to be right on the war, but I think that it was almost accidental. He wanted us to get in and get out, like we should have done in Vietnam. His tone has changed considerably since then.

Rush states he is an American first, a conservative second, and a republican third. I'd make one change to that. He's all business and making money first, he's said so many times, as far as his show is concerned.
