Hurricane Katrina illuminated what can be expected if people do not heed the need to stockpile essentials and prepare to live without electricity and water. Camping gear along with canned goods, battery AM/FM radio, matches, stored water for personal grooming and sanitation, liquid soap, paper plates and cups and flashlights absolutely mandatory (don't forget to have extra food stored for pets and other critters who depend upon us.
