Thanks, your logic also works for me. I cannot even imagine 4-8 years of Obama or Clinton during this period with all that America is facing. Life is all about compromise and 70-80% that McCain will more than likely deliver is, to me, a good bet versus the other option. Now, I can sort of understand the 100% crowd, but even Reagan granted amnesty with no border security. Besides, a 100% conservative would be hard pressed to get elected POTUS at this time.

I am in total agreement. 8 years of Clinton had a lot to do with 3,000 Americans getting killed on 9-11-01. Hillary and Obama are so incredibly weak on the WOT, that many of us may not survive for the "great conservative takeover" that is allegedly going to follow Obama or Hillary.

Based on the fact that the country is now leaning left, a conservative takeover after a Clinton or Obama is doubtful at best.

I’ve been giving this some thought - it appears that the McCain conundrum as his serving as POTUS from a conservative point of view gets down to an avoidance of the facts as we know them to be at this time. It seems that a logical discussion of prior action and policy position facts must result in a conservative vote for McCain – there is simply no doubt versus other options.

The not voting option may get Clinton or Obama elected. If everyone plays, the result will be 70-80% on our favor – a win. Isn’t a compromise to secure that result worth the compromise?
