For the record, I am a McCain supporter who has been called every name in the book by other Conservatives.
Do I have a right to vote for whoever I want (or not)?
It seems to me that the only important opinion is the one each of us have.

I don’t believe I have ever said anything nasty about any McCain supporter. I’m a firm constitutionalist and say vote for who you like.
I cna say that I, as a non-McCain guy, have been trashed a lot by McCain supporters. I ask them to tone it down: it just gets worse. The latest screed about us shutting up is what prompted this thread.

Exactly! and MOST of US didn’t get a chance to cast a vote before McCain was anointed. By the people??? Not hardly.

Do I have a right to vote for whoever I want (or not)? Sure, but the rest of us are supposed to at least get a shot at voting for our favorite in the primary. I, and millions of others did not, due to the rather bogus "process" the parties have created.
