I am sick of the McCain apologists calling me every name in the book because I won’t vote for that piece of crap. I have the right to vote (or not) for anyone.

Anybody that thinks I'm a McCain apologist hasn't been paying attention. I was disgusted by McCain's lack of balls or brains on the David Letterman show last night. If he can't even stand up to a two-bit hack of a comic and confront a false premise in a question, what chance does he have of countering the lies of a democrat opponent or democrat media lackey!

That said, at this point the reality is that McCain is running against either hillary or Obama. While I don't trust McCain to fight for conservative ideals as strongly as I want a GOP president to do, I KNOW that a hillary or Obama will wage all-out war against every conservative ideal that I hold dear. Given that reality, I see no choice but to vote for McCain in November.

Just out of curiosity, wireplay, what is your plan for the first Tuesday in November if you "won't vote for that piece of crap (McCain)"? Are you voting Democrat? Are you voting third party? Are you staying home? Are you getting drunk? btw, I won't call you any names, but hillary or obama will have you and those like you to thank if one of them is the next President.

Jim, maybe this would be another good poll question: Since John McCain (aka "that piece of crap") is the presumptive GOP nominee, what do you plan to do on November 4?
1. Vote for the GOP piece of crap
2. Vote for the democrat
3. Vote third party
4. Stay home
5. Get drunk

#3 and #5.

As I have stated before, I don’t trust McCain’s temper. I hold that above a lot of other things since he will have so much power and an inability to control his anger.

At some point it becomes like Charlie Brown and Lucy. Do you really trust her to hold the football so you can kick it? At what point do you simply say enough is enough?
