I have now said live on television here in North Carolina, much the same thing that you, Rome, just posted. "These are not the three best candidates that a nation of 300 million people can put forward for President." I said that during an interview for my own race for Congress, in the 11th Dist. of NC.

If the politics in the White House don't (can't with this list of possibilities) get any better, and the Republicans cannot take back the Senate (unlikely, too many seats to defend), then the House of Representatives will be the last ditch defense for sanity in the whole federal government.

That's a large reason I am running for one of the seats the Repubs never should have lost, and must retake, if there is any serious chance of retaking the majority in the House.
