I admired Ross Perot for his efforts to find and bring home MIAs. I could be wrong, but didn't he have a lot of anti-McCain opinions regarding McCain basically giving up on MIAs? If I need a memory correction about this, I'd very much appreciate any help.

I should have written POWs and MIAs instead of just MIAs in my previous post.

Ross Perot did support bringing home the POWs in his platform when he ran. I honestly don’t remember if he specifically mentioned McCain.

There are a lot of people in the POW/MIA community who hate McCain, but he’s made it clear that he thinks there’s nobody still over there, so when they act as if he’s knowingly abandoning live Americans or didn’t care in the first place they are attibuting motives to him he doesn’t have.
