Why on earth would I be banned if I didn’t do anything wrong? If you weren’t “threatening” anything, what exactly were you talking about? Please....do tell.

I voted for Bush because I had no other choice. The next time I vote it won’t be because the Republican Party’s FEAR tactics have worked again. We may lose but I’ll be dammed if I vote for McCain.
Another thing..You’re not big enuff, smart enuff, rich enuff or old enuff to tell me to shut up.
I haven’t been around to see the posts you are referring to but do add my name to that “List”. Sounds like a great group of people.

CG,
I think there are many for whom their particular "conservatism" has become a kind of religion, like liberalism, progressivism, socialism, environmentlism and feminism are quasi-religions with others.
For such folk, someone who is not their version of an orthodox, doctrinaire conservative is as dangerous as a liberal. Corrupting and leeching influences, don't you know.
I think it is probably that numerous such people are attracted to a good conservative site such as FR. What does one do try to get religionists to be real? If I knew that well, I might have become an actual pastor. ;-)

Welcome to the Conservative “list”. It’s a damn shame we need a list, especially on FR.

I was talking about the former Freepers who were “disappeared” for supporting Guliani. I don’t have the power to ban anybody, nor did I threaten to ban you. Can you understand?
To: Revolting cat!
Ill vote for the Obama/Wright ticket! You would.
To: Cinnamon Girl
I'm no McCain fan, but I do support him on the WOT and on right to life which are two major issues for me.
I will gladly vote for him over either Hillary! or Obama.

It dawns on this poster, watching this back and forth:
This is the American conservative version, of Sunni vs. Shia.
Fact is, we’re more alike than different.
But the animosity, because of egos, face and principle, escalates.
To: Cinnamon Girl
I mean no disrespect, but I have no way of knowing whether your sentiments are heartfelt or you just wanted to toss a lit match into the fuel tank. Whatever, you livened up an otherwise dull evening.
Poor John, he's been misled, by a lifetime of privilege, into the belief that he can often say and do what he wants when he wants to and not suffer the consequences. And not even 2000 taught him anything about what happens when you piss off the very people you may want in your corner down the road.
I have never questioned his courage, but his judgment remains suspect-- IMHO.

It is not religion. It is called principle and backbone.
What is a conservative if he has neither?
A McCain supporter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do the right thing and vote for a real conservative. It is time to hop down off of the lap of the GOP.

2. Declaring that McCain urged the U.S. government to leave other POWs back in Vietnam (for what reason would he do this exactly? Dont bother, I dont want to hear your lies anymore.)You can't handle the truth.

Well, I'll just let the anti-Semitic chihuahuas do their work, and if you are reasonable at all you'll be seeing things my way by the first Tuesday in November.
In the meantime, I have three words for those who believe they will save America with a heroic stand against the horrible beast McCain: Pocketa-pocketa-pocketa.
