If one of those other loons gets elected, folks that don’t vote for Mc Cain will soon see thier mistake. It won’t take long either, with the dims controlling both houses and the pres. I’m certainly going to vote for him. And all the rest of the Republicans I can. This country has been a long time getting into this socialist mess, and we won’t get out of it overnite, no matter how much we would like to. Surrendering our country to the likes of Obama and Hillary is NOT going to make any progress.

I actually like McCain as a person.

He seems like a regular guy, and there’s no need to recount his admirable service record.

I don’t like his immigration stance, McCain-Feingold, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

I’m not happy with the fact that conservatism seems to be unable to field a viable candidate.

I’m not happy with the fact that a whole lot of people seem to have, perhaps unconciously, bought into the whole government-grab-bag, “what’s in it for me?” mentality.

I’m not happy that tax-raising and corruption seem to be the only things government does right.

I could go on, but then I’d be ranting.

I’m not sure I believe McCain’s movements to the right are sincere.

All that being said, the election has boiled down to the lesser of three evils.

I just don’t know what to do at this point. Our Pennsylvania primary is a month away. I still haven’t decided if I’m voting for McCain, or going with the Ron Paul protest vote.

I think that cutting taxes without cutting spending is flat out stupid and that’s what his position was.

That's an outright lie, but it's the same lie McCain is telling these days. Those of us with a memory longer than that of a goldfish remember that he thought the tax cuts favored "the rich" too much. It was classic liberal democrat rhetoric.

I can tell you what to make of this one. Cinnamon Girl was a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of FR for years. She gave endlessly of her time, shuttling between protests while caring for her little girl.

Well I don't hate him. Heck I don't even hate Bush. But I disagree with McCains politics and as such will criticize it. If McCain is so fragile he can't handle such {like Bush} and insist on silence amongst the party then maybe he too isn't quite up to the job and should let a better Republican namely a Conservative take his place. McCains legislative record tells me all I want to know about him. I think of McCain no different than I do Hillary or Obama whom I would never vote for either.
