Bill Clinton is the one who showed no class.
Respect is earned, not automatic.
BJ did a whole lot to un-earn a lot of people’s respect.
CC: Clinton-the-man is completely undeserving of any respect. That has NOTHING TO DO with publicly disrespecting Clinton-the-former-President.
ROTR: Paterno showed a complete lack of class by making public his disrespect of the former President. Agreed that none of the others you mentioned have any class EITHER. Since I don’t know the man, I’ll be charitable and assume it was a temporary misjudgement (Lord knows we all make them) - and I mean giving the interview, NOT refusing to meet with Clinton.
