The fact that Oprah’s Obama is a serious candidate for the White House is a testament to the irrevocable decline of the United States, but I don’t think the hapless Americans know that.

Some of you people are so ignorant:

The only way to love America is to hate it. ;-p

“...for all its flaws...

Why is it we have to point out the fact that there are “flaws” in America? We all know there are flaws. Nothing is perfect after all. In fact, this little line was but a paean to those on his side that do think the USA is a bad, inherently flawed place. This little line was a tip of the Obama hat to those like Rev. Wright, haters of the USA. “

This shouldn't even be in here. There is no need to “apologize” for America to a nest of black racists.

We fought a long civil war with horrible casualties to end slavery.

When America was founded, slavery was the norm and government by the governed an aberration. You have judge people by the standards of their time, not by ours.

The continual carping by some minority members about issues like this disgusts me. If blacks want to solve problems in the black “community” they should do something about the incredible rate of illegitimacy and the absence of black fathers, instead of making an issue of ancient history and attacking whitey.

This is the dichotomy and dilemma for the formerly Barry, now Barak, Obama. Stay with the race-based clowns who think they're latter day Black Panthers or ride the wave of PC-perfect-brain-addled Liberalism with the hopes that no one will notice. My advice is this. Barry should just say he's a punk from the present PC age learning from demagogues of yester year and that “who're you gonna believe “your ears or what I tell ya’s”.”

“This Wright incident has revealed that Barack Obama is not above signing on to the sort of anti-American rhetoric as espoused by the Farrakhans and Rev. Wrights of this nation. In fact he is quite eager to do so.”

As far as I am concerned, any Black that votes for this clown is a racist, and any White that votes for him is a fool.

What’s a serious point is where racist osama hussein obama kept the Wright on as his campaign advisor. Wright only left the campaign in recent weeks because of the public’s introduction to the good reverand and osama’s racist past.

Obama basically attended anti-American anti-white hate rallies for 20 years. He took his daughters to watch. They were fed talk of aids being invented by the evil white people to kill blacks, that israel is a dirty word, that America deserved the atrocity of 9/11, and taught an attitude of "god damn america". All these statements were so out of character and contrary to the church that the entire audience whooped it up standing and cheering every time.

All Obama can say is the lie that he is being "taken out of context" and misrepresented. Obama has tried to run as a blank slate politician hiding marxist ideology. Wright has shown Obama's true colors, this his chickens coming home to roost.

If he was so offended by Wright's remarks then why didn't he leave the church years ago? Because deep down he is of the same racist mindset as that racist ass preacher. Neither one of them are worth a nickel.

Obama can not explain this away. He is lucky that he is Black because had a Pastor of John McCain or any Republican had said such hateful things then they would have been done for. The media would not be making excuses for him. He would’ve been Trent Lotted all the way out of the race.

I think it is telling that we have had in the short span of weeks the clear demonstration of how truly unfit both the Democrat candidates are. Are these the best the self proclaimed party of “open mindedness” and the “little/working man” can provide? What they have been shown to be is the party of small men and self deceivers who do not have the substance themselves to become President without making up stories about landing under fire. That isn’t simply being human, it is about plotting to deceive on one hand and holding a deep hateful/divisive worldview on the other.

We have a man who will not pledge allegiance to his country and a women who will pledge allegiance to anything to win. Men have been called whores for less. It really appears that John McCain is already President and the rest is just pre-election entertainment. The Obama/Hillary show will soon end and John McCain’s Inauguration will begin because even the Democrat party when it comes down it can’t stomach electing either of these two.

I look for Hillary to steal the nomination from Obama anyway so all this doesn't matter.

Something we parents know quite well is that we had to watch quite carefully who our "kids" chose as friends. Bad people are bad influences.

As adults, friends and associates have immeasurable influence on us. And, it doesn't take too long to know where any potential friend is "coming from".

Similarly, it's no small wonder why parolees are not allowed to associate with known felons.

The influence of friends and associates on people is huge, and everyone knows this. Got life experience?

This is, of course, acutely the case in people interested in politics and power. (Think Obama and his buddy Jeremiah here).

No thinking person can sustain disbelief that Barack and Jeremiah didn't resonate philosophically (and deeply so) from the very get-go, 20 years ago.

Is Barrack Obama the man we want in charge of our national security? Never mind the fact that he and the other democrats have screwed up their own candidate selection process, does he have ANY pro-American credentials at all? How many of his votes in the senate have helped to strengthen America and it’s security against international murderers?

Obama HAS to Hate America or Lose 'Black Vote'

That's OK, The "US of KKKA" hates him!

The dirty little secret is that black America is acting like a spoiled teenaged 'chile' acting up against its parents because of unfair treatment as a youth. Like the kid who gets 25 piercings on their face, or the kid that smokes or does drugs, or acts like a slut against mom's and dad's wishes, this behavior is juvenile, stupid, and self destructive. But the problem is that the ignorance, the childishness, the stupidity of the child is supported by one parent, and the end result is the ruination of the entire family, not just the troubled kid.

Black America is a spoiled teenaged child, rebelling against the rest of America. And it's refusal to grow up and get with the program (and the rest of America's cowardice in enabling this behavior) is destroying the quality of life in this country. Our schools are crap, our culture is garbage, our neighborhoods are in decline, our middle and upper class kids act like wannabe gangbangers in the lowest of upbringings...When are we going to show the compassion and the love to slap the unruly child in the face and say "Enough is enough!"? "Grow up!"

But, here is the thing: Barack cannot refute Rev. Wright's racist ranting nor can he be seen being outraged by his church. If he did he'd lose a large part of the black vote that would feel he has turned his back on them and he would certainly lose black leaders that he only recently accepted into his fold.

That may have been an issue when Obama started his career, but not any more. As the only Black Democrat likely to run for President or Senator from Illinois, he's got the Black vote tied up.

It's street cred -- respect for being a "real" African-American that Obama's looking for. Since Obama got elected to the Senate, it may be that he needs a link to what he considers "real" Blackness to bolster his own identity, more than he needs it to win anyone else over.

Barack HAS to be understood to be winking at the black community and saying on the sly that he does agree that America is hateful, America is racist, and America is a danger to the world, for this is the narrative from the leadership of the black community.

Maybe, but the other possibility is that he's winking at the White establishment and saying on the sly that he doesn't believe that anymore than they do.

...for all its flaws...

Senator Obama, please find me another country whose soldiers fight and die for freedom in other countries, and still lie buried in the thousands, with graves as far as the eye can see, in the countries yet enjoying the freedom Americans bled for them to have.

I'm still waiting...

I think that Obama would get 99.9% of the black vote not matter what he said. They claim not to be monolithic but they are. However, I did not realize how hypocritical they are until now. I just read an article about Rev. Wright’s $1M+ house in suburban Chicago. The same article also mentioned Michele Obama’s urging of black women not to seek jobs in corporate America (which presumable pay better) but to seek jobs serving the community. How convenient, now that Michele and Barak are millionaires. (I have mine but you don’t need yours). What hypocrites!
