The man gets more action than James Bond, Mike Hammer, and Mick Jagger combined. Oh, and the tales are hilarious and outrageously politically incorrect!
The best is yet to come, as is the worst so far as the series is concerned. Personal favorites are "Flashman and the Great Game", "Flashman and the Indians", "Flashman and the Dragon". Weakest, IMHO, are "Flashman's Lady" and "Flashman on the March".
BTW, Fraser died last New Years, so we'll never know what Flashman did during the U.S. Civil War. Disappointing.
