They are both poster childs for affirmative action and what it creates. People who have no respect for the wonderful things they have because the believe they are entitled to it all anyway. When everything is handed to you, regardless of the work you do, you tend to not feel obligated to pay it forward.
Seriously, I wonder if this is THE source of resentment in the black community -
essentially being wards of the state and being treated as if there is no way they can make it on their own merits.
