Senators don’t read what they vote on. They don’t do research. They are fools in fancy suits.

You're not going to get any argument out of me on that point, but that does not absolve them for voting for military action. Those Senators voted for action based on the presence of WMDs, and other matters.

Either they are capable of perceiving the big issues or not. I guess the Democrats weren't.
