Many times I have been threatened with violence, as well as our staff at Move America Forward.

We simply shrug off the danger, and continue with our work to support our troops.

'Skye' at MidnightBlue.com wasn't so lucky yesterday in Philadelphia, Pa.

She was slapped TWICE by so-called 'peace activists'.

I am saddened to report this:

Saturday around 12:10 PM, a member of the Chester County Peace Movement (CCPM) slapped a woman twice ( that would be me) who was videotaping an exchange between the two opposing groups. Police were called and an officer arrived at 12:15 PM and announced to the crowd that he was conducting an investigation.

The CCPM member was pointed out to police and the officer told the man to come forward and the man refused. The guy was totally uncooperative, belligerent and would not go with the officer. When he shoved the officer, the officer's partner took him to the ground to be handcuffed. The guy continued to resist while on the ground and the peace movement folks surrounded the officers, some as close as a foot or so away.

I've prided myself in my professional conduct at this rally and to be struck twice by a 'peace' protester who has been present since the time I began covering this rally is truly disturbing.

I've gotten hold of a copy of the after action report from the peace protesters. Their leader, Karen Porter, condones the attack and sends a message that it is okay to hit us.

Sorry for the scrawled email, I am near tears.

Here is the the text for your perusal.

Some of you were at our vigil today, some weren't. Very briefly, here's
what happened (and we have it all on film by several people):

One of our vigilers had a verbal conflict with a counterprotestor who has
for six months constantly harassed many of us (including me). We ended that,
but it started again; and we called the police. The police came and had a 
conflict with the peace vigiler who had the original conflict. The police arrested
him, and another one of our folks, attempting to support the first vigiler,
got involved in a conflict with the police - and the police thereupon
arrested him. Several of us went to the WC Police Headquarters. Both vigilers were released after about 45 minutes.

I will not go into more detail for legal reasons. Plus, I was so busy  trying
to divert the crowd that I didn't see it all. Luckily, a lawyer  was at our
peace vigil, went to the police station with them, and has offered to
represent them both. The entire affair is now in the hands of lawyers.

You are thinking in terms of today's standards, as you should. I am talking about the old days and how much things have changed. I am not advocating an attempt to return to the old days. It would be a disaster in current atmosphere of political correctness. But you can't deny that there is something wrong with today's PC nonsense when “peace” activists get away with violence and military supporters are not allowed to retaliate.

One of these days things will turn around and people like me will be not only allowed to retaliate, but encouraged to do so. I hope it happens before I'm too old to physically take part in the retaliatory actions.

The police are there for a reason.
I will defend myself and others around me, I will not retailiate after the fact.
There is a distinct difference between defensive actions and retaliation.
We cannot cross that line. The unhinged leftists have already crossed the line; that does not give us free reign to crack heads at will, no matter how great the satisfication of doing so would be.

All we need are sharp-minded individuals with the presence of mind to video-tape/record the incident, document the incident; and be prepared to testify under oath to the facts in case.
Our credibility is the one thing that seperates us from the loonie-tunes.

Skye handeled this exactly as it should have been handled.
However, had someone stepped in to stop this clown, or if Skye had dropped her equipment and tried to defend herself, that would also have been the right thing ot do.

We're very fortunate that the anti-war movement hasn't infiltrated my part of the U.S. yet. From the rate it's spreading it's just a matter of time for us, and we need to be ready.

Since this is a public forum, and it's very likely the moonbats troll these threads, I don't want to disclose my location in any thread. Please direct me to whom/where I need to contact to get a group of Patriots organized in the event we need to counter radical leftists. Maybe there is already a group organized? I don't know how to find them...

the older i get, the more i believe in the POWER of prayers. (even from such a poor example of a Christian as i am.)

when a few years ago, i was told that my much-beloved "duckie" (who was hospitalized for a major surgery) is "failing" & "slipping away from us", i came on the FR forum & asked everyone i knew ("canteeners", "foxholers" & "WBTS threads folks") to pray for her BY NAME.

about an HOUR later, one of the doctors said, "I just cannot understand it. Her vitals are much better. She is breathing more strongly & is much more alert to her surroundings." (FOUR days later, i got to take her home from the hospital to recuperate!!!)

i said, "i KNOW why. there are HUNDREDS & maybe THOUSANDS of people all over the country praying for her by name." (the doctor looked at me, as if i was from "outer space", shook his head ,sadly, & walked really fast down the hall. = i'm sure that he thought i was "NUTS".)

so PRAY HARD for those, who face the "FILTH, BIGOTS, LEFTISTS & HATERS", on "the FReep lines". that will be a GREAT help.

I checked the GOE website and they aren’t showing a chapter listed in my area. I’ll be sending them an email for info.

I’m also going to check the websites of other Patriot orgs I’ve seen written about in FR threads for local chapters.

If we don’t have an organization already established here then I’ll start one myself. We have several motorcycle clubs and Vet orgs who may be willing to stand ready. The main thing is that we have to be ready if/when the anti-military factions invade.

War is war. And someday, provided things continue down this same path, it will cease being rallies and demonstrations and lawsuits and will start being war. The only way it won't is if our side compromises, because their side won't. Is that what you want?

For the last 75 years or more, people like me have been gradually giving in to people like these hippie commie scum. Different generations had different labels for this type of scum, but they are the same. Rush refers to them as the maggot infested FM type. The 8 years of reagan were a temporary blip, and not an entirely successful blip either, but a mixed bag. The slide resumed almost immediately after bush 41 took office and accelerated after he left. It's about to accelerate to an all-time record. Something must be done to halt the slide.

And I am sick to death of seeing my side lead by big money men that are willing to use social and moral values as expendable bargaining chips to preserve capitalism. I want both or to hell with it. I'm tired of sacrificing social conservatism in order to preserve a semblance (a pathetic one too) of capitalism. One without the other is pointless IMO.
