Senator Mc went overboard in his emotional rhetoric, but McCarthy was a patriot trying to save his country from the Communist menace which had effectively infiltrated the State Dept, Hollywood and other areas of government and academia. To equate Clinton to McCarthy is a terrible slam on McCarthy.
