What’s the line of succession? What happens when they run out of viable New Yorkers? Can they sub-contract the job out to a Texan?

This witty rejoinder to a possibly impertinent question enhanced his reputation as a regular fellow.

...and, sadly, so have his recent revelations.

He should never have taken office. He could and should have done the honorable thing and stepped down.

Is the Democratic party overrun with corruption and lust for power? Is there no one in the Democratic Part with even a shred of honor?

More like a “regular DEMOCRAT fellow.”

No, the Indian is ours. They don’t get to have Bobby. We’re keeping Bobby for ourselves.

Next in line is State Senate majority leader Joe Bruno(R). Joe is 79 so sex might not be an issue, but he is under investigation by the feds for misusing his office to benefit contributors.

Make no doubt, “opposition research” is already underway against the next in line just in case he resigns.

Maybe they can get Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia to parachute in to serve as governor.

After all, New Yorkers seem happy with one carpet-bagging beeotch as their junior Senator, and Rockefeller’s got that (in)famous name...

What's the line of succession?

Republican state senate president pro-tem Joseph Bruno, followed by Democrat assembly speaker Sheldon Silver. After that, God only knows.

"Republican state senate president pro-tem Joseph Bruno,"

And that is the reason the media is not clamoring for another resignation.

*** What’s the line of succession? What happens when they run out of viable New Yorkers? ***

There's a Coat Room Attendant in Albany getting fitted for a New Suit & Tuxedo as I type.

:-)

Yes and they two are a couple of gems in their own right. Both New York & New Jersey are governed by corrupt swine.
