A powerful US politician added her voice yesterday to the worldwide chorus condemning Chinas crackdown in Tibet and demanded an international investigation.
The situation in Tibet is a challenge to the conscience of the world, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, said as she strolled arm-in-arm with the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the restive Himalayan region.

I believe your original observation is very correct. However, please compare your childhood and your life with theirs. Their sllabs have been cut off and are living on their knees. They live in a mirage and a hell/prison (even sometime it’s fancy). They have been brainwashed and you can consider them mentally ill. They are jealous of you and hate you because they don’t have what we have.
I was in Tibet for almost two months less than 10 years ago. The Chinese claim that Tibet was historically their territory. But, the Tibetans do not look anything like the Chinese and the Tibet Mountaineering Association, who all climbing groups have to use, are Chinese govt employees and have to hire Tibetan interpreters. When I was there, Chinese who would relocate from China to Tibet were permitted to have two children.
