AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
I’m hoping they’ll sell it on DVD since we just cancelled our HBO subscription a couple of weeks ago. We never watched anything (and I wanted the sports package instead :D)...but John Adams is my second favorite President. Talk about someone who got totally maligned by history. David McCullough’s biography should be mandatory reading in high school.
Not to my knowledge. Let me know if you run across any.
I did too..."Remember Stalag 13 never had an escape" Of course, when you had a resort who'd escape.
oooh, we’re quoting from “1776” again... I LOVE IT!
Hannah Montana wallpaper? Transformers bathroom accessories?
We cancelled our HBO a couple of years back, too. So I’m hoping for a DVD release of “John Adams” as well. I’ve had McCullogh’s book for a long time but haven’t gotten around to starting it. After hearing all about it here, I am going to do so very soon.
Well, to be fair (I know, I know) it is that.
I can see pictures of him with soldiers opposite pictures of OB with Rev. Wrong or the beast kissing Arafat’s wife.
It’s your Tennessee teams that gave me the most trouble. Pitt and Memphis was a tough choice too, but in the end I think Memphis is too much for Pitt, but it will be a great game to watch! (of course now that I saw this it will be a blowout.) Tennessee has a great team this season! A match up between them and Louisville could go either way. If any one member of Louisville’s team has an off night, Tennessee will run away with the game.
Yes, and it's beautifully done. Laura Linney plays Abigal, and she's wonderful.
Oops! Abigail.
He's mine...
Robert Hogan:Charlie Sheen
All my friends cut out newspaper articles when he was writing it (apparently he stayed in Adams’ home and did extensive research)...I was one of like two people waiting to purchase it when it came out. All I can say is set aside a couple of days and read it. It is accurate, and complete. Plus the role Abigail played in his life...talk about a “strong woman”...yet she was strong without being abrasive.
“Hillary makes hay while the sun shines. Whod have thought Obama would shoot himself in the foot like this?” ~ American Quilter
“Operation Chaos is working flawlessly” ~ Rush Limbaugh, 03/19/2008
“Operation Chaos continues to rock the Democrat primaries! Limbaugh listeners switch parties to vote for Hillary and keep the Uncivil War raging. Obama’s had to take out ads to beg Republicans to vote for him!
“Hillary can’t win with delegates, so she’s laying in wait for an Obama screw-up. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton undermines his wife by saying all the votes should count.
“The Queen Bee Shows Her Stinger! Pelosi Says “Dream Ticket” Won’t Happen.
“See, I Told You So: Democrats won’t pull troops out of Iraq. Hillary said so in a speech, and cited an Obama lackey’s message to the Brits that Barack won’t either.”
~ Rush Limbaugh, Monday 03/17/2008
After “Sex and the City” and other garbage HBO has put out over the years, I didn’t think they’d be capable of a worthwhile program like the “John Adams” series sounds like it is.
I’d like to get the DVD, as well.
Rush has to get in the Rinnai company in his conversation!
Thanks. I just may give it a try.
Rush is a genius.
He gets that what Obama said yesterday is that if you are not a socialist you are a racist.
Then he stumps for hot water heaters.
G-d he is good.
I read what McCullogh said about the production, he praised Tom Hanks as exec producer TO THE SKIES for the faithful tv presentation. Sorry I don’t have a link, I’ll try to find it.
